Paediatric Multicath 2 is a double-lumen radiopaque polyurethane central venous catheter inserted in the internal jugular, subclavian or femoral vein using the Seldinger technique.It is a 4.5 Fr catheter with totally separated lumen. Each lumen can be identified by “DISTAL” or “PROXIMAL” printed on the extension tube at the proximal end of the catheter.The user can choose between 2 types of introducer: a needle or a short I.V. cannula.Both lumen have the same diameter: 20G.The catheter features centimetric graduations from 5 cm from the distal tip. No marking on catheters 6 cm long.
Paediatric Multicath 2 is available with :

• 1 STANDARD STRAIGHT guidewire in stainless steel (codes 1202.xx3 / 1203.xx3)
• 1 TEFLON-COATED STRAIGHT stainless steel guidewire (codes 1202.xx1 / 1203.xx1) or
• 1 TEFLON-COATED NITINOL “J” guidewire particularly kink-resistant (codes 1202.xx2 / 1203.xx2)

Multicath3 UP is a XRO polyurethane central venous catheter introduced by Seldinger technique.

Multicath 3 (paediatric model) is a triple-lumen radiopaque polyurethane central venous catheter inserted in the internal jugular, subclavian or femoral vein using the Seldinger technique.At the proximal end, the 3 lumen of the catheter are connected to extension tubes of different lengths; besides each extension tube is marked “DISTAL”, “MEDIUM” or “PROXIMAL” and includes a different coloured hub so as to identify easily the different infusion lines. Extension tubes fitted with Robert clamps.The user can choose between 2 types of introducer: a needle or a short I.V. cannula.
Multicath 3 is available :either with A STRAIGHT STANDARD stainless steel guidewire (codes 1231.123 / 1233.063/083/103)or with 1 J NITINOL GUIDEWIRE, particularly kink-resistant (codes 1231.122 / 1233.062/082/102/202/302)or with 2 GUIDEWIRES : a STRAIGHT TEFLON-COATED STRAIGHT guide and 1 J NITINOL guide (codes 1231.121 / 1233.061/081/101).

The Rocket Seldinger Chest Drainage Kit combines the benefits of small bore catheterisation with the ease and reliability of the Seldinger approach whether under direct vision, x-ray screening or ultrasound guidance. Small bore catheters have been shown to be as effective as larger drains without the disadvantage of patient discomfort 1,2

For percutaneous insertion of a chest tube for pleural drainage of fluid and air and is particularly suitable for: 3

• Pneumothorax, spontaneous or iatrogenic
• Effusions, benign or malignant, except those with high protein content.
• Low viscosity empyema.

In response to concerns and advice from British Thoracic Society members, Rocket Seldinger Chest Drainage Set now contains shorter (10cm) dilators with secondary safety stops. These help to minimise the risks of over-insertion associated with the traditional 20cm dilator.

Paediatric Multicath 2 is a radiopaque 5.5 Fr polyurethane double-lumen catheter inserted by the Seldinger technique in the internal jugular, subclavian or femoral vein for paediatric use. Dual lumen Multicath 5.5 Fr consists of two lumen completely separated on the total length of the catheter. Each lumen leads, at the distal tip of the catheter, to a distinct hole. At the proximal end, the 2 lumen of the catheter are connected to extension tubes of different lengths; besides, each extension tube is marked “DISTAL” and “PROXIMAL” and includes a different colored hub so as to identify easily the different infusion lines.

The diameter is the same for the distal and for the proximal lumen: 2 x 17 G.

The user can choose between 2 types of introducer: 1 echogenic puncture needle or 1 short I.V. cannula.

Multicath5 HFS is a XRO polyurethane central venous catheter introduced by Seldinger technique.
Multicath High Flow has been designed to achieve rapid safe volume replacement through the proximal lumen and allow intravenous therapy, infusion and blood sampling.
Moreover the HF catheters present a high pressure distal line (marked « HP ») to enable a flowrate of 5ml/s at a viscosity of 11.8mPas under 150psi/10bar.
It consists of 5 lumens completely separated on the total length of the catheter. Each lumen leads, at the distal tip of the catheter, to a distinct hole. At the proximal end, the lumens of the catheter are connected to extension tubes of different lengths. Multistar 5 + is a 5 lumen central venous catheter, in polyurethane, introduced in a deep vein such as the jugular, subclavian, femoral veins, using the Seldinger technique. Antibiotic impregnated multi-lumen catheter.
The active ingredients used in the Multistar are Rifampicin and Miconazole. In contact with blood and the infused solutions, the catheter releases slowly and regularly Rifampicin and Miconazole from its internal and external surface. The efficiency of the anti-microbial activity has been tested up to 30 days.

The punture needle is fitted with a BLS valve (Bloodless system) to limit the loss of blood and the risk of air embolism.

Device for thoracic and pleural drainage (pneumothorax, hemothorax, chylothorax, pyothorax…) made of:

• a PVC drain with XRO line and 2 lateral eyes. Markings at 5 and 10 cm from distal tip,
• a metallic trocar with handle ensuring a good grip and controlled insertion,

Mini set for epidural anaesthesia containing :
- 1 Tuohy needle 16 G, 80 mm long with transparent hub and removable wings.
The needle has graduations every centimetre. The transparent hub allows to quickly visualize an accidental reflux of blood or of CSF.

Epimatic is a syringe allowing automatic location of the epidural space thanks to the continuous positive pressure applied on the plunger by an elastic strip.
The anaesthetist insert the needle and use one hand to hold the ultra sounds probe in order to control the needle progression. He receives a visual confirmation of access of Tuohy needle to the epidural space.

Syringe can be used either with liquid or air.
