Multistar 5 + is a 5 lumen central venous catheter, in polyurethane, introduced in a deep vein such as the jugular, subclavian, femoral veins, using the Seldinger technique. Antibiotic impregnated multi-lumen catheter.
The active ingredients used in the Multistar are Rifampicin and Miconazole. The Nutrisafe 2 feeding tubes are fitted with a Nutrisafe 2 connection compliant with the ISO standard 80369-1. Consequently, accidental misconnections between devices intended for enteral nutrition and devices intended for other indications (venous access, spinal, epidural, vesical, respiratory…) are avoided and the right administration route is respected.

It is recommended to replace polyurethane feeding tubes from 4 weeks.
