These Nutrifit extension tubes keep the feeding tube away from the syringe pump or from the feeding pump to improve the patient’s comfort. 

These devices include the ENFit connectors, compliant with ISO 80369-3.

·         Code 368.107 has a standard bore (Ø1.5×2.5mm) and a length of 100cm. There is a cap on the male ENFit connector. The dead space is 1.90ml.

·         Code 368.1071 has a standard bore (Ø1.5×2.5mm) and a length of 100cm. There is a cap on the male ENFit connector. It is also available with a Robert clamp. The dead space is 1.90ml.

·         Code 368.157 has a standard bore (Ø1.5×2.5mm) and a length of 150cm. There is a cap on the male ENFit connector. The dead space is 2.80ml.

·         Code 368.1571 has a standard bore (Ø1.5×2.5mm) and a length of 150cm. There is a cap on the male ENFit connector. It is also available with a Robert clamp. The dead space is 2.80ml.

Extension tube for enteral nutrition presenting the following features:

·         Distal end: Christmas tree adaptor* to connect this entension tube to any type of gastric / gastroduodenal tube with large funnel (Salem sump tube, PEG …). The Christmas tree adaptor is removable. If this adaptor is removed, it is then possible to connect this extension tube to a feeding tube featuring a Nutrisafe 2 connection.

·         Lateral port with Nutrisafe 2 connection so that connecting a standard Luer 6 % fitting is not possible.

·         Roberts clamp on the proximal section of the extention tube so that the user can clamp the tube to interrupt the administration of enteral feeds while the lateral port is used for drug injections.

·         Large proximal funnel to connect the extension tube to a pump administration set or to a syringe with large cone.

*Note: This extension tube is also available without Christmas tree adaptor at its distal end under code number 339.072 (see corresponding technical file).

The needle is available either with a 17° or a 30° bevel.

Infuplex is presented in a peel-pack including:

·         1 PTFE short cannula 18G,

·         1 electric cable with male plug (on the neurostimulator) and a female plug (on the needle hub),

·         1 polyether block amide catheter (with connector and catheter guide) Ø 0,4 x 0,8 mm – length 40 cm open tip, centimeter graduations from 5 to 15 cm and mark at 10 cm (codes 5196.70/703), at 8,5 cm (codes 5196.55/553) showing that the distal end of the catheter has passed beyond the introducer cannula.

Procare is the brand name of polyester sutures manufactured by Dolphin Sutures.Polyester suture is a braided and coated suture (silicone) and is a non-absorbable suture composed of Polyethylene terephthalate fiber.

A central venous catheter (CVC), also known as a central line(c-line), central venous line, or central venous access catheter, is a catheter placed into a large vein. It is a form of venous access. Placement of larger catheters in more centrally located veins is often needed in critically ill patients, or in those requiring prolonged intravenous therapies, for more reliable vascular access. These catheters are commonly placed in veins in the neck (internal jugular vein), chest (subclavian vein or axillary vein), groin (femoral vein), or through veins in the arms (also known as a PICC line, or peripherally inserted central catheters).

Central lines are used to administer medication or fluids that are unable to be taken by mouth or would harm a smaller peripheral vein, obtain blood tests (specifically the "central venous oxygen saturation"), administer fluid or blood products for large volume resuscitation, and measure central venous pressure.^[1][2] The catheters used are commonly 15–30 cm in length, made of silicone or polyurethane, and have single or multiple lumens for infusion.^[3

Adult venous implantable port with peelable introducer (7Fr or 8Fr) and CIV-Flex Echoset.

Two types of implantable port existing:

·         Mini implantable port with catheter to connect in silicone (codes VPE3007ECHO and VPE3008ECHO) or in polyurethane (code VPE3017ECHO).

·         Mini implantable port with a pre-connected catheter in silicone (codes VPE3107ECHO and VPE3108ECHO) or in polyurethane (code VPE3117ECHO).

Each Echo-guided placement kit Polysite ECHO contains:

1 – A pouch containing:

·         One titanium and POM (polyoxymethylene) Mini port with a silicone septum,

·         One 60cm XRO silicone or polyurethane catheter. Graduation every cm with a numbered marking every 5cm from 5 to 40cm,

·         Two connection rings (only one for pre-connected references) with a Phynox thread containing nickel,

·         One straight Huber needle – 22G,

Dilatation & curettage (D&C) is the gold standard for endometrial sampling, but in 60% of cases, less than half of the uterine cavity is curetted, with the added risk of general anesthesia, infection and perforation (3, 4). This has led to the advent of new and simple methods for endometrial sampling. Various devices are on the market nowadays, including the Pipelle device (5, 6). The Pipelle can be used on an outpatient basis and is cost effective compared with D&C (7). However, there are still concerns regarding the adequacy of the sample obtained, non-sampling of focal intrauterine lesions (6). Therefore, this study was designed to compare the diagnostic accuracy of Pipelle endometrial sampling with conventional D&C in patients with abnormal uterine bleeding.

Key features
